Okanogan/Omak Rotary Club announces its 13th Annual Wine & Cheese tasting event, November 12, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place in Okanogan at the Okanogan Fair Ground's Agriplex Building. This is the Okanogan/Omak Rotary Club's main fundraiser for the year and has become one of the premier events in the communities of Okanogan and Omak. We have 300+ in attendance with 12 to 15 wineries tasting their wines. Along with the wineries this year, we will have Cider Works tasting their regular and hard ciders. Also Conconully Coffee will be tasting a variety of their coffee blends.

With the tasting, the club offers various cheeses and hors'doeuvres that can be pared with wines. There are 3 silent auction tables in progress during the tasting. As tasting winds down, the dessert auction begins. These desserts are displayed throughout the night so you can decide what dessert you or your table would like to bid on. Once the bid is won, the dessert along with plates, etc. are delivered to your table. The evening ends with the live auction. In the live auction you can find anything from a ton of hay to a Holland American 5 day cruise with your choice of destination.
Throughout the evening, Tim Patrick Photography is there for portraits and the Rotary Wine Store is open. Find something you like? You can purchase one bottle or a case of bottles at the Store.
Tickets are $30 each or reserve a table of 8 for $225.00 if purchased prior to Nov 7 and $35 or $240 purchased after Nov 7. You can receive special pricing at the Omak Best Western Peppertree Inn for the night of Nov 12th. Just mention you are attending the Rotary Wine & Cheese event.
