Club Announces Vocational/Technical Scholarship Winners

The Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club announces the vocational/technical scholarship winners for 2011.

Hannah Thomason, a senior from Omak High School is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. She is interested in a career in criminal justice. Tyler Boquist, also a senior at Omak High School, is interested in an automotive and diesel degree at Clover Park Technical. Tyler is the winner of a $500 scholarship.

Jerid Peterson, a senior at Okanogan High School is the $1000 scholarship winner and is interested in becoming a lineman. Jerid plans on attending lineman training at Avista in Spokane. Ryan Kells is the recipient of a $500 scholarship and plans to attend ITT Technical where he will pursue a career in advertising and computer design.

 The Rotary Club would like to congratulate all of the scholarship winners and the graduating classes the best of luck in their future endeavors!
