Okanogan Omak Rotary Club Announces 2023 Baccalaureate and Vocational Scholarship Recipients
The Okanogan Omak Rotary Club has awarded $12,000 in scholarships to Okanogan and Omak High school graduates. The Club awards Vocational scholarship funds for students pursuing a vocational career at a community college, technical or trade school; the Club also awards Baccalaureate scholarship funds to students pursuing a 4-year degree at a college or university.

The Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club will award a $2,500 Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship to an Okanogan and an Omak High School senior who is pursuing a four-year degree and who exemplify the Rotary Motto of “Service above Self”.
 
 
Rotary STEAK NIGHT with a Twist!
 
Thursday, October 20th we will be hosting a Steak Night combined with a Halloween Costume Party! Prizes will be awarded for best female, best male and best couple/group costumes.
VENUE: Okanogan Agriplex
DATE and TIME: October 20, Doors open at 5:30pm, dinner served around 6:00pm.
MEAL: Dinner features a delicious steak from Gene's, baked potato, salad with Breadline dressing and bread from Hometown Pizza.
MUSIC:  by Larry Phillips.
NO-HOST BAR: provided by Omak Elks. This will be a 21 and over event.
AUCTION ITEMS: There will be silent, dessert and live auctions
TICKETS: Buy your $25 tickets at Papa Murphy's, The Attic, Rawson's or FreeBird IGA. You can also contact any Rotarian or message us on Facebook. 
COSTUMES: Costume Rental and purchase available each Saturday in October, 10am-6pm at Okanogan Valley Orchestra & Chorus Costume Shop, 429 S. 2nd Avenue, Okanogan
 
 
The Okanogan-Omak Rotary Steak Night Fundraiser came through for our local fire districts. We recently awarded a check for $1,260 to Fire  District #3. Rotary President Debi Tracy-Clark and member Denise Varner presented the check to the District Commissioners and Department Chiefs.
Thank you to our community supporters for coming out and supporting our local fire districts at our August Steak Night!

Rotary President Debi Debi Tracy-Clark and member Dave Womack presented the check to Assistant Chief Steve Byl and the Department Volunteer Firefighters.
